SmartZoning is a novel APP for zoning plans. Now legal regulations can be easily visualized and assessed in 3D. It is completely driven by zoning constraints and only shows building footprints, floor areas and roof shape allowed to be built. SmartZoning creates building envelopes and setbacks using existing and future GIS parcel plans as inputs. Supported thresholds include FAR, GFA, roof types, basements, maximal heights and more. Easily identify areas with development potential and draft-zoning laws based on the model projections. SmartZoning is currently being used to revise zoning plan processes in the City of Zurich.
SmartInvest
SmartInvest comes as an APP for ArcGIS solutions. With SmartInvest you can easily visualize investment opportunities within cities in 3D. Use GIS parcel maps and zoning plans as inputs and SmartInvest will tell you if and where to add to existing building footprints. It also gives you a clear idea of the resulting building area. This information enables you to check investment potentials within any city.
EnergyCount
This APP supports planners with a first assessment of building energy use on city-scale. With EnergyCount you can quickly calculate current and future energy demands and link them with zoning plans and urban designs. Energy modes can be easily linked with CO2 emission and consumed resources, such as oil, gas, district heating and clean energy. EnergyCount supports municipalities, investors and individuals with urban renovation scenarios and associated costs and trade-offs.
